Rosetrees becomes an affiliate charity of Our Future Health

News – 24 April 2025
Rosetrees has joined as an affiliate charity of the UK’s largest health research programme

Our affiliate charities are sharing their expertise in the prevention, early detection and treatment of disease with Our Future Health. By joining forces, the charities are also able to shape the programme to ensure it is fit to serve the research needs of a range of diseases and conditions.

Rosetrees

Rosetrees has supported over 1,700 medical research projects since 1990, with the aim of improving health and wellbeing of everyone in the UK. The charity’s funding has facilitated the development of 47 different drugs, diagnostic tools, a vaccine and more. Rosetrees’ mission is to fund research that will benefit healthcare in the next 5-10 years.

Like Our Future Health, Rosetrees doesn’t focus on one specific disease in terms of the research they support; they seek a healthier future for everyone. The charity focuses on supporting researchers as they test innovative ideas to bring the earliest patient benefit possible and are currently supporting around 300 projects.

Affiliate charities

Our Future Health is joining with many of the UK’s leading health research charities who are providing valuable support and expertise to help develop Our Future Health. They will make a big impact in allowing us to ultimately change the way we prevent, detect and treat diseases.

Ann Berger, CEO of Rosetrees, said, “Rosetrees is delighted to join Our Future Health as an affiliate partner. We share a strong commitment to advancing medical research aimed at developing better diagnostics, treatments, and cures across all areas of disease.

“The health information of a single individual may offer limited insight on its own. However, when combined across five million people, it transforms into a powerful dataset with immense potential. This rich source of data can help to understand and prevent disease, lead to better diagnosis and new treatments for all. The more organisations that partner with Our Future Health, the greater the impact we can make together on the nation’s wellbeing.”

Dr Raghib Ali, CEO and Chief Medical Officer of Our Future Health, said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Rosetrees as our affiliate charity partner. Together, we share a vision of empowering researchers to make new discoveries about all the diseases which affect so many of us. Their expertise in supporting projects that bring early patient benefit make them a really valuable partner for Our Future Health, as we hope to enable people to live longer, healthier lives.”
